We could get into things like integrated driving perception and ultra-HD decision-making visual sensors. But wouldn’t it be far more useful just to tell you that every AION car is equipped with intelligent systems to make driving smoother, more responsive and more intuitive, parking significantly easier and on-the-road mishaps far less likely? Because great technology adds confidence, not complexity.

Safety, considered from every angle

We set out to achieve the maximum five-star Euro NCAP rating – and achieve it we have, on both AION models. That’s thanks to seven passenger airbags and advanced safety features like blind-spot monitoring, cyclist dooring prevention, driver fatigue detection, lane assist sensors and autonomous emergency braking that detects vulnerable road users. All built in, as standard.

A battery built not just to perform – but to last

AION’s battery is engineered to stay calm under pressure. Multiple layers of advanced heat protection and built-in safety systems help prevent issues before they start, and if something goes wrong the battery knows how to protect itself – and you. Meanwhile, intelligent cooling keeps operating temperatures consistent whatever the weather is doing outside. The result? A battery that performs better for longer.

Where the AION standard begins

The AION Smart Ecological Factory in China’s Hunan province is a pioneering energy-efficient factory using sustainable energy to reduce waste and environmental impact.
